Simmer’s most versatile wave sail, with full draft and moderate boom length, ICON provides you with plenty of power to move and gives effortless handling, even in the most powered up conditions. For 2012 we have reduced the weight in the top 1/3 of the sail by using more 2 MIL Q-Ply, and given it a more compact outline with a fanned batten layout. We have combined the characteristics of the softer and lighter Q-Ply with the stiffer 4 MIL and MIL X-Ply to create the best possible twist. It has been proven year and year again that the ICON is the ultimate world-wide wave sail for all type of sailors and conditions.

CONSTRUCTION

-Horizontal shape on the lower batten for constant sail profile, combined with vertical shape on the four top battens for maneuverability.
- High Aspect Ratio, longer mast shorter boom. Gives fingertip handling with more front-end power located higher in the sail body.
- All X-Ply body for maximun durabilty combined PVC for crystal clear visability.
- Symmetric batten pockets, creates a perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails as well as reducing the weight and increasing the strength.
